FORD - MACH EAU FRAGRANCE BOTTLE
With the release of the new all-electric Ford Mustang and Ford ‘Mach Eau’ fragrance, we were tasked with replicating a display model from 2D visuals.
Firstly the design was replicated from orthographic views of the original fragrance bottle using 3D CAD. Photorealistic rendering programs were used to test the visual properties of the machined parts and how they would look in display lighting.
The final model was made from a combination of machined perspex and aluminium, with a translucent spray finish applied to the inside of the bottle to give the illusion of fragrance inside.
BENTLEY - VEHICLE ACCESSORIES
We collaborated with Bentley across multiple projects to develop a range of accessory concepts for their luxury vehicles – from branding to luggage stowing.
In order to accurately judge the experience of use and to capture the right premium appearance, our team machined from solid aluminium before polishing, knurling, branding and assembly.
STELLA ARTOIS - SERVICE SET
Prior to a worldwide brand refresh, we provided a serving set for Stella Artois comprising a serving tray, ice bucket and beer skimmer.
Machined in plastic, it was a fun challenge to wrap the debossed branding artwork around the rim of the tray and the handle of the skimmer. Each item had a painted golden trim tying the range together.
FORD – PUMA ST REPLICA RC CAR
Built for an ad where it was to be raced against the real thing at Brands Hatch, we provided the replica bodywork of a 1:12 scale Ford Puma ST.
Built on a vacuum-forming with the same paint as car itself, it was finished with hand-painting and finished with custom stickers and 3D printed wheels, complete with their own racing brakes.
GREY GOOSE - BOTTLE GLORIFIER
Presented with the task of designing and producing a promotional ‘glorifier’ model for Grey Goose, the Modelshop team developed an engaging concept that reflected Grey Goose vodka in a retail environment.
The solution to the task was to combine a machined base and real glass bottle, joined together with a polished metal bracket ring.
The final glorifier design is an eye catching center piece that showcases the Grey Goose brand, it’s values and the premium quality behind the vodka itself.
