To celebrate their new product Solar Wave, Sharp’s Brewery bring you the latest in AI barkeeping, Chat IPA. Their fun 2 minute ad below explains just what it’s ‘capable' of…

To help them visualise this fun idea, one of our Modelshop team spent a week building the bar-top smart speaker to use as a prop during filming.

The form-factor follows the distinctive shape of their new glass for Solar Wave in matched on-brand colours. Water slide transfers and hand-painting added the decoration in a way that was efficient on a quite quick turnaround.

To give the thing some life, the top section that would be the foam on the pint has an LED array with several subtle animations driven from an embedded microcontroller.

Available in over 500 venues across England and Wales, and Vegeterian Society certified vegan friendly, there’s no reason not to get out and enjoy Solar Wave responsibly this Summer, and If you’ve a project like this you’d like to discuss with the team, let us know below.
